Exercise: Sidejump High Ground Retake

Exercise Description

The sidejump is a powerful high-ground retake move that allows you to escape pressure and reposition during build fights. By jumping off the side of a ramp and landing on a floor piece, players can reset the fight while maintaining protection and height control.

Step-by-Step

  1. Load the Practice Map
    Enter Coach Philip's Practice Map using this code:

  2. Build the Setup
    Build a ramp with a cone on top. The cone gives you protection and structure for the jump.
  3. Position for the Sidejump
    Move to the edge of the ramp, turn to either the left or right side, and prepare to jump outward.
  4. Execute the Jump
    Jump off the side of the ramp and place a floor piece below you mid-air to catch your landing.
  5. Continue the Retake
    After landing on the floor, place a ramp immediately to keep moving upward and continue your build.
