Exercise Description

The Double Ramp Retake is a classic high ground technique used to create distance from an opponent while building up safely. By placing ramps behind and in front, players can reset pressure and then re-engage from a higher position.

Step-by-Step

  1. Load the Practice Map
    Use Coach Philip's Practice Map:

  2. Begin the Double Ramp
    Start by placing a ramp behind you, then one in front, building away from your opponent.
  3. Repeat the Pattern
    Continue placing back and front ramps 2–3 times to gain height and space.
  4. Turn and Re-engage
    Perform a 180° turn and ramp toward the enemy to regain pressure and contest high ground.
