Exercise Description

Mid-range aim is one of the most valuable combat skills in Fortnite. It's where most fights begin — whether you're tagging rotating players or engaging from a safe distance. Mastering your mid-range accuracy gives you control over the pace of fights, allowing you to weaken opponents before they even reach you.

This exercise will help you build consistent tracking and first-shot accuracy using Assault Rifles and similar weapons in common mid-range scenarios.

  1. Load the Aim Training Map
    Map Code: 2424-4344-7824 (Raider's Mechanics Training Map V5)
  2. Equipment Setup
    Once inside, head to the aim training area and grab an AR (current season gun)
  3. Recommended Practice Scenarios
    • Horizontal Tracking
    • Surge Tags
    • Glider Tracking

Skill Focus

  • Crosshair Placement: Keep your aim centered around upper body level.
  • Target Tracking: Train your ability to follow movement smoothly (adjust sensitivity if necessary)
  • Shooting Technique: Tap shoot on longer range and spray on closer range to control the AR's bloom.
