Exercise Description
Close-range aim is the difference between clutching up or getting one-pumped in Fortnite. Shotgun fights, fast edits, and tight box fights all rely heavily on your ability to land high-damage shots quickly and consistently.
This exercise will help you improve your crosshair placement, flick speed, and reaction time for shotgun-based encounters where every shot counts.

Head over to the Shotgun Aim Training section inside the map. Equip a Shotgun depending on current meta - Recommended Practice Scenarios
- Headshot Practice
- Shotgun React

Skill Focus
- Crosshair Placement: Always aim at head level (Change Sensitivity if needed)
- Flicking & Reaction Speed: Build muscle memory for landing clean shots instantly after edits or peeks.
- Movement Sync: Combine strafing with aiming — practice shooting while moving naturally to dodge return fire.
Final Tip
Warm up for 10 minutes before jumping into battle royale or ranked games. Prioritize quality shots over spamming. Over time, you'll build confidence in box fights and clutch more close-range battles.
